Krunker.io has one of the highest skill ceilings of any browser game. New players often get eliminated quickly by experienced players who seem impossibly fast and accurate. This isn't magic — it's a specific set of techniques that can be learned. Here's where to start.

Movement Is More Important Than Aiming at First

New players focus almost entirely on aiming, but movement is equally important. A stationary or predictably moving player is easy to hit. Learn to strafe constantly (move left and right while shooting) and to use cover effectively. Being hard to hit matters as much as hitting your targets.

Bunny Hopping

Bunny hopping — jumping repeatedly while moving — makes you harder to hit and maintains your movement speed. In Krunker, you move faster while airborne than while walking. Experienced players are almost always in the air. Practice jumping continuously while moving in any direction. It feels awkward at first but becomes natural quickly.

Slide Jumping

Slide then jump to boost your speed significantly — more than either movement alone. Slide with the C key or crouch key, then immediately jump. You'll launch forward at high speed. Combining this with bunny hopping is the basic Krunker movement meta and gives you dramatically better map control than walking players.

Choose the Right Starting Class

The Triggerman is the best starting class — the AR it uses has good accuracy, decent damage, and a manageable fire rate. Avoid the Spray N Pray for your first few sessions as the inaccuracy is frustrating before you understand the range limits. The Hunter/Sniper class requires good aim to be effective; save it until you're comfortable with the game's movement.

Use Corners and Angles

Krunker's maps are designed around corners and sightlines. Position yourself so you can see enemies before they see you. Peek corners with quick movements rather than standing in the open. Watch where you're getting shot from repeatedly — those are the sightlines you need to avoid or use for yourself.

The Aim Trainer

Krunker has a built-in aim trainer accessible from the main menu. Spend ten minutes here before your first real match. The trainer helps you calibrate your mouse sensitivity and gives you a feel for how the game's hit detection works without the pressure of a live match. Most experienced Krunker players still use it to warm up.
